I have always loved this classic French song ‘Une Belle Histoire’ by Michel Fugain. The lyrics paint such a vivid picture for me, there is an energy from the song that I often try to tap into with my work. The kismet magic of a chance encounter by the side of a highway at the end of the summer holidays has always intrigued me.

With ‘French Kiss’, the silhouette of the couple is intertwined in a romantic dance alongside large brush strokes that I painted in movement to the melody of Fugain’s song.
